Is Hello Summer an all-ages event?
Yes, Hello Summer is an all-ages festival! Guests aged 2 and under do not require an event ticket and have free admission when accompanied by an adult.

Where is the festival held?
The event takes place at SMS Equipment Place in Fort McMurray, Alberta

What access does General Admission provide?
All GA tickets provide access to both field (floor level) and stadium seating.

How do I purchase a suite?
Saturday Single Day Suites are sold out. Sunday Single Day Suites are available. The cost for a suite is $4,380 (20 tickets at $219).

Is the festival rain or shine?
Yes! Hello Summer is an outdoor event and will take place rain or shine.

Are refunds available for tickets?
All ticket purchases are final sale with no refunds or exchanges.

Where can I park?
Parking at MacDonald Island Park is limited. Arrive early or consider carpooling.

Is transit available?
Yes. RMWB Transit will operate extended service during the festival. Visit www.rmwb.ca for more information.

What time does the festival run?
Gates open at 3:30 pm each day and the event runs until 11:00 pm.

What size bag can I bring?
Small purses, handbags or clear bags under the size of 12" x 12" x 6" are permitted into the event. Backpacks or bags larger than this size are not permitted.
All guests are subject to bag check. -
Will there be bag checks?
Yes. All guests and bags are subject to security screening upon entry. This will include walk-through metal detectors and bag checks.

If I leave the festival, can I come back in?
No. Hello Summer Festival follows a no re-entry policy. Once your ticket has been scanned and you have entered SMS Equipment Stadium, re-entry will not be permitted if you leave the venue.
To accommodate guests who smoke or vape, designated smoking areas will be available within the festival footprint, allowing access without exiting and re-entering the stadium. Please follow onsite signage and staff directions.

What if I have to leave for medical reasons?
A no re-entry policy is standard practice at many Canadian music festivals and concert venues. The policy supports guest safety, security screening requirements, crowd management, and efficient venue operations.
No re-entry is permitted once a guest enters the festival grounds. Exceptions may be made for medical, accessibility, or emergency situations at the discretion of management.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking and vaping are permitted only in designated smoking areas within the festival footprint.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in seating areas, viewing areas, concourses, washrooms, or other non-designated spaces. Guests are asked to follow onsite signage and staff directions when accessing designated smoking areas. Failure to do so may result in removal from the festival.

How can I pay for food, drinks, and merchandise at the festival?
Hello Summer is a cashless event. Food, beverages, merchandise, and other purchases can be made using:
Debit cards
Credit cards
Mobile payment options (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.)
Please plan accordingly before arriving at the festival.

Will there be a phone charging station available at the festival?
Yes. Complimentary phone charging stations will be available on-site for guests throughout the festival.

Is the music festival accessible?
SMS Equipment Place is fully accessible with elevator access to both concourse and field levels. Wheelchair accessible and companion seating is available on concourse level in sections C and H. Guests looking for accessible access can purchase General Admission tickets which allow access for both accessible seating and field level. Can I be denied entry?
Yes. Entry may be denied for:
Intoxication or impairment
Possession of prohibited items
Unsafe or disruptive behaviour
Offensive clothing or attire
Failure to comply with event policies

Is there a dress code?
Yes - we reserve the right to deny entry to individuals wearing clothing items that feature offensive text or images or guests lacking a shirt, bottoms or footwear.

Is there first aid onsite?
Yes. Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and a First Aid Station will be available throughout the event.

What should I do in an emergency?
Follow directions from event staff and security at all times.

What behaviour is expected?
Guests are expected to:
Treat others with respect
Follow staff instructions
Remain in authorized areas
Consume alcohol responsibly
Wear appropriate clothing and footwear

What could result in removal from the festival?
Guests may be removed for:
Fighting or threats of violence
Throwing objects
Theft
Harassment or inappropriate conduct
Entering restricted areas
Possession of prohibited substances or items
Smoking in non-designated areas
Failure to follow staff directions

Can I buy a Hello Summer t-shirt?
Limited edition Hello Summer Music Festival t-shirts were available only as part of Early Bird purchases.
Early Bird sales are now closed. However Hello Summer branded merchandise such as hats, keychains and tote bags will be available for purchase at the event!

Are there opportunities to fundraise at Hello Summer?
There are two fundraising opportunities available:
Sign up to receive a custom promo code for your group! Share it with your supporters and for every ticket sold using your code your club will earn $3 per ticket (up to $500 per club).
Volunteer and earn with a team honorarium! Your team can support event operations like stadium cleanup and receive a team honorarium to recognize your time and effort.
